Good morning Smokin' Salmon,

What a great meet last night! It is very rare for a first meet of the season to go so smooth. In terms of results, we did end up defeating the sharks by a 200 point margin. While the coaches are beyond happy with this result, there are a few skills that we felt need to be focused on as the team continues to improve this season.  *REMINDER NO PRACTICE THIS MORNING*

Positives of the meet

• Team spirit was awesome, keep it up!
• Making it to events
• Talking to coaches before and after races was great

Topics for improvements

• Consistent backstroke finishes
• Butterfly/backstroke kicking
• Timing relay starts

Looking ahead to next week, we are swimming at Newport-Cocke County. This is our only away meet, so please make an effort to register and attend. This season is already shaping up to be a strong one, but it takes attendance across age groups to make this happen.
