I cannot believe our season is almost over! Here are some things you need to know as we enter our last week of practice and competition.  

TEAM T-SHIRTS

Team t-shirts will be available for pick-up at practice next week.  Also, we will offer the extra ones for sale to parents on a first-come/first-served basis for $15 each. Get yours in time for City  Meet.

GKAISA CITY MEET CHAMPIONSHIPS

The GKAISA City Meet will be held July 28-30 at the Allan Jones Aquatic Center at UT. We will provide more detailed information on Volunteer Worker shifts and Meet Entries as it becomes available.

There will be NO onsite parking at the Allan Jones Aquatic Center. Our tent will be next to the Aquatic Center, and you can drop off your swimmers and your belongings there; however, you will need to be quick, as UT Police will monitor to be sure that traffic continues to flow. Parking will be available at the Metron Center Garage, and shuttle busses will depart from there to the Aquatic Center continually throughout the Meet.

Heat Sheets will be for sale at City Meet. Please consider purchasing a Heat Sheet so that you have the timeline and your swimmers’ events. NOTE: We will not have a timeline until Friday morning for the Friday events, and Saturday morning for the Saturday events.

CITY MEET T-SHIRTS

City Meet t-shirts will be picked up and delivered to our tent on Friday morning.

TEAM PHOTOS

Eric Branch will be making our team photo this Monday night, July 24 at 6:00 pm. Eric will also take individual photos on request. Both age groups will practice together following the photos, and then we will head to Casa Don Gallo as a team for dinner.

…. AND FINALLY…..

SAVE THE DATE: Sunday, August 13 for the Season-End Banquet at Calhoun’s on the River. Cost is $20 for attendees 11-Up and $10 for attendees 10-Under. Please sign up by going to the “Products” section on our website. We look forward to celebrating a great season!
