Good Morning!

We are very excited to see everyone tonight at the meet! I have a couple updates and information I would like to share with everyone.

WEATHER: lets start with the biggest concern. We all know Knoxville weather is fickle and predicting it is a good guess at best but most predictions do show thunderstorms this afternoon. We are working with Fox Den to keep everyone updated and safe. As of right now we are just waiting to see what happens. A decision will be made at 3:30 about any possible delays or cancellations and we will let you know as soon as we do. We are hoping for the best but swimmer safety is the number 1 concern at all times.

WHERE: We are swimming at Fox Den Country Club at 12284 North Fox Den Drive in Farragut.

PARKING: Fox Den Country Club is closed on Monday and therefore will have ample parking at our facility. The swimming pool parking lot is to the left after turning into the main entrance. Additional parking can be located in the parking lots behind the pool and closer to the clubhouse.

THEME: Cowboys and Disco!

WHEN: We are visitors and have 2nd warm-ups. Swimmers should plan to arrive around 5:00pm

10 and unders: 5:10 - 5:40

11 and olders: 5:25 - 5:50

Meet starts at 6:00pm

SPECTATORS: Spectator seating is on the hill outside of the pool deck. Please stay on the grass and out of the pine straw and rocks. Parents will need to bring their own chairs. The hill area is typically shaded in the afternoons, however, tents are allowed if desired.

CONCESSIONS: Fox Den will be providing a food truck on site. Food trucks available for the meet are Southern Yankee Pizza and Irvey’s Ice Cream.

EVENTS: See Attachments for your swimmers events.

WHAT TO BRING: As always, a cap, goggles, and towel are required. Water Bottles and snacks are highly encouraged as are chairs to sit on. Popup tents are allowed but bring at your discretion with the weather.

BABY POOL: Per Fox Den - Please be aware that the smaller baby pool on deck will be roped off and closed and we request that you stay out of the baby pool for safety. That includes your feet.

CLERK OF COURSE: Fox Den will be running a clerk of course. All USC Swimmers are required to have their First and Last Name, Age, and Team name on their back right shoulder (USC is fine for abbreviation). Swimmers need to be reminded to be quiet in clerk, if it is too loud, they might not hear their name being called and might miss their events. I expect that no swimmers will miss their events.
