Good Afternoon,

We cannot wait to see everyone tonight for our first dual meet of the season! This is going to be a very close meet so I hope everyone is ready to swim fast!

THEME: Our meet theme tonight is Dark Mode! I want to see everyone black out the pool! (Remember to drink lots of water)

WARMUPS: Since we are the home team, we get first warmup. Please ensure your swimmer is there on time. 

10 and under - 4:45-5:15

11 and older - 5:00-5:30

Meet starts at 6:00.

EVENTS: Please see attached heat sheet and athlete check-in sheets for your swimmers events. We know not everyone is swimming their favorite events, we still expect all swimmers will go out and do their best to be legal and fast during every race.

WHAT TO BRING: All swimmers will be receiving their team caps tonight at swimmer check-in. They are to wear that cap tonight for their races. All swimmers should also bring an extra cap, goggles, towel, and water bottle. We also encourage families to bring their own chairs (it will be crowded with close to 300 people at the pool), towels to sit on, snacks, and other refreshments they might want.

TEAM AREA: All swimmers should be on deck in the area immediately right and left of the entrance. Swimmers should remain on deck at al times unless they are with a parent. It is very important that all swimmers compete in their events. The meet will not wait on a swimmer who misses their event. Please make sure your swimmers know their events and are able to be found by clerk of course.

CLERK OF COURSE: ALL SWIMMERS must report to clerk of course before their event. Clerk has a sign they will be keeping up with that shows what is being sat. ALL SWIMMERS also must have their name, age, and team written in sharpie on the top right shoulder. This helps clerk be sure of who is who and ensure your swimmer gets to swim in the correct place.

HEAT: It is very hot. Please bring sunscreen and water for your swimmers. If you have a popup tent to set up, you are welcome to set it up for our swimmers on deck or in the upper deck for yourselves.

SEATING: From RecSports: Parents are encouraged, when not working our meet, to sit on the upper deck.

Wednesday 6/17 Practice: We will have no morning practice for any groups. We will have afternoon practice per normal schedule.
