Good Afternoon,

It was so much fun to get to see everyone at our first meet! Thank you all for bearing with us as we dealt with a few hiccups getting the meet started. I loved getting to see everyone cheering on their teammates all night! I have a few updates about the season I want to share before tomorrow.

MAFD: Our first dual meet is against Maryville-Alcoa Flying Dolphins. RSVPs are open and they close tomorrow at midnight. (I have triple checked the settings to make sure they don't close early this time!) Please RSVP as soon as you can. If you have not, you will be getting another email from me soon.

ADDITIONAL MEET: Thanks to our reputation for being a great team, we were invited to swim an additional meet this season. If you were with us last year, you got to meet the Gulf Park team. They are inviting us back this year to swim a meet that will count for City Meet Swims but will not count for league standings. I would love to have everyone join us on Thursday, JULY 9th at the Gulf Park Pool. The information is already on our schedule and there is no additional fee for swimmers. Let me know if you have any questions.

THEMES: Voting for meet themes ends tonight. We will be counting up all of the votes and deciding on our themes tomorrow. As of writing this only 25 people of our 90 swimmer competitive team have voted. Please take a moment tonight and vote for your favorite themes. We would love to hear everyone's opinions. Please vote here.

FUN DAY FRIDAY: Tomorrow we will have a fun practice. We are still doing some work on starts and turns but everyone will get to participate in our soda toss tradition. If you do not want you child to have a soda, I encourage you to bring an alternate treat for them so they don't feel left out. Our afternoon families will be doing this on Monday afternoon. We would love to see everyone there!
