Good Afternoon,

I wanted to give everyone a quick update about our weather policy. We always assume we will be having practice if it is just raining. Currently, the forecast shows that the thunder part of this storm will be gone before our practice time tonight and we will be left with a nice rain practice to swim in. We all do live in Knoxville so we know the weather forecast is rarely accurate so if something changes we will send out any updates the moment we are able to. Ultimately, the lifeguards at UT have the final say and if they say no practice, we are not able to do anything about that. Thankfully they are great people and work with us as best they can to make sure we are able to do what we need and be safe about it. The safety of our swimmers is always the number 1 concern and if anyone feels unsafe about coming to a practice, we understand and will not hold it against anyone.
