Good Afternoon,

Tonight we have our exciting Dog Days meet! We can't wait to see everyone swimming their best including our feeders!

For those who have never been to Junk Meet before, it is unlike normal meets where swimmers race for points or ribbons. At this meet swimmers will be racing their heats for prizes. They will win a prize regardless of place but the faster they swim the better their prize will be!

LOCATION

We will be swimming at the outdoor pool.

ENTRIES

Entries are also done a bit different in this meet. Attached is a heat sheet and athlete check-in form for you to see where your swimmers should be and when. There will be no clerk of course tonight but we will have chair behind the blocks to help organize people. 

Another note is that freestyle is our only "normal" stroke. We will be swimming some fun relays and races.

If you see your name in a relay but find less than 4 swimmers on your relay, please come talk to Coach Robbie before the meet.

PARENTS'/COACHES' RELAY

To cap the night off, the parents will be organized into relays to race the coaches! Parents please come talk to Coach Robbie before the meet so he can organize teams and please bring a suit! This relays is a favorite of the swim teams and the more people we have participate the more fun it will be! 

10x400 RELAY

This relay will be shown to have no participants currently. The website does not allow for such a unique format. This relay will have 2 swimmers from each age group race on the same team. These have been written down by hand and will be told to the swimmers following the conclusion of warmups.

WARMUPS

We will have a warmup before the meet. Please Arrive no later than 6:45.

10- will be 7-7:15

11+ will be 7:15-7:30

Meet starts at 7:30.

THEME

Our theme tonight will be Hawaiian! We can't wait to see everyone's outfits! This is also a good opportunity to try your outfit out before SMI!

OTHER INFO

JR Coach Volunteer hours forms are with Coach Robbie. Please see him tonight or tomorrow morning to pick one up if you haven't already. If for some reason more information is needed on the forms, please come talk to us so we can get it sorted for you!

Medals and ribbons will be available tonight! Please see our board members to pick up you awards from the meets, City Meet, and the banquet!

PARENTS

There will be a parent meeting at 6:50 with Deanna Ford. Please arrive early to attend.

Also please be sure to bring the treat you signed up for on the the signup genius!
