Good morning,

With the season sprinting to a close next week, I wanted to share with everyone the information about SMI that I currently have.

WARMUPS

Warmup times have not been announced yet, but they will be sometime between 7:00am-8:40am

The meet will begin at 8:40am both days.

SATURDAY

Saturday is 11 and older day. No 10 and unders are required to attend though cheering on your team is always fun! Senior Slide will also happen on Saturday.

SUNDAY

Sunday is 10 and under day. No 11 and olders are required to attend though cheering on your team is always fun! Also on Sunday is the coaches' relay!

SPECTATOR SWIM and SLIDE

There will be spectator swimming, and the slide will be open both days. We encourage swimmers who are actively participating in the meet does not do spectator swim until they have completed their races. Ultimately it is up to you and your family though it can be difficult to get swimmers out of the spectator pool and into clerk of course on time.

CLERK OF COURSE

As in all previous meets, 10 and unders will be required to have their full name, team initials, and age on their back right shoulder to aid clerk of course in seating swimmers correctly. This meet is much smaller than City but is much bigger than any of our other meets.

TIMELINE

There has not been an official timeline posted; however, this meet has historically been an all-day meet.

The most recent edition of the entries is attached to this email. Please look them over and let Coach Robbie know of any issues before noon today. We apologize for the quick turnaround. If you have already reached out to Coach Robbie, those entries have been corrected but have not yet been updated on the entry file. Please note, entries are separated by days.

USA SWIMMERS

If you swim for a year-round team and have competed in a USA swim meet after August 1st, 2024 (excluding City Meet), please make sure your name is not on either of these entry files.
