News 7/15
Good Afternoon swim families,
Congratulations to all our amazing swimmers at City Meet. We not only had an amazing showing during prelims, but also during finals!
Special Congratulations to Mali Pavlis, Mael Tedsen, and James Levin for coming in 1st overall in one or more of their events!
Another shoutout goes to James Levin for setting a new City Meet record in the 25 Butterfly with a time of 13.55 seconds!
My final congratulation goes to Marilla Neubauer for receiving both the Terry Gadner Memorial Award and the honorable mention for the Tom Schumann Service award for incredible service to this team during her years as a swimmer and now coach!
Junk Meet
Tomorrow we will be hosting our Annual Junkfest Meet at Allen Jones Aquatic Center courtesy of our very own director of coaching, Marshall Goldman. This meet is an extremely fun meet which includes a kick board relay, parents racing, and is decided by the coaches' relay! Parents relays will be organized tomorrow during the meet. Parents, please make sure you bring a suit if you want to participate. While signups are closed, if you missed the deadline and want to swim, please reach out to Coach Robbie. There will be candy and over prizes for the swimmers!
City Meet Results
Attached are the results from City Meet. We are so proud of all our swimmers for doing their best and couldn't have asked for more! We have loved watching everyone improve so much from the beginning of the summer and are excited to see everyone keep getting better the rest of the summer to!
Thank you all and please reach out for any questions.
