I hope everyone had a great 4th of July week! Tonight is our final dual meet of the year! 

Theme/Senior Night

Tonight's meet theme is Superheros! We hope everyone joins us in dressing up to celebrate the superhero seniors. This is also senior night and we are excited and very sad to say goodbye to our graduating seniors this year. We will have a senior swim in the middle of backstroke to celebrate them so make sure you come to deck and cheer them on! our seniors are:

Warmups

We have first warmup for this meet. 10 and unders will be from 4:45-5:15. 11 and olders will be from 5:00-5:30. Please make sure you arrive before your warmups.

Seating

Parents please make sure you set up on the diving well side of the pool, the shallow end is used for scoring, moving the kids, and clerk of course. In addition we need to know where to find swimmers for their events. It gets hot during these meet, we recommend bringing a tent, water, chairs, and finding some shade. 

Clerk of Course

So far we have not had many issues with swimmers missing their events and for that your coaches want to extend a huge thank you! It can be difficult for the coaches to be everywhere at once and for clerk of course to remember every single kid on the team. Please make sure you swimmer is at clerk of course before their events. for relays make sure the entire team is there before the event. It takes a village and we appreciate you helping children that are not your own so our volunteers don't worry as much! Just as in past meets all 10 and unders much have their name and age on their backs and all swimmers regardless of age must have their events, heats, and lanes written on their arm or leg where they can see. I also recommend writing what stroke they are swimming. (Plus we want to see that superhero body art!)

Heat Sheet

Attached is the heat sheet and athlete check-in for this meet. The athlete check-in will be on the upper pool deck near SAC and will also be posted on the fence. You are welcome to print your own heat sheets. Otherwise the coaches and Jr. Coaches will have them.

Junior Coaches

We appreciate everything you do for this team! We are asking that if you are able, to please assist clerk of course in identifying/finding missing swimmers as no one knows the team better than those who are there day in and day out. Thank you!

Tuesday Social/ City Meet

Due to scheduling conflicts, we will be moving the popsicle party to after city meet, specific date TDB. Thank you for understanding. More information about City meet will be coming on Tuesday.
