Hi all,

I hope everyone is mostly or at least partially recovered from the long weekend at SMI. Please read the whole email especially the end for important City Meet Information.

Smoky Mountain Invitational

Congratulations to all our swimmers who participated in SMI! We had a great showing with 2 top place finishes and many, many top 12 place finishes. All top 12 placements score points for our team but more importantly get to show off the progress and accomplishments our swimmers have made this year! Attached here is a list of all swimmers who placed in the top 12 of their events. We had many amazing swimmers place all over the leaderboards, but regardless of placement we hope that all our swimmers know what an amazing job they are doing and how proud we are to get the opportunity to coach you and help you grow!

City Meet

It is wild to think that City Meet is next week! We hope that everyone is as excited for this meet as we are! Your coaches will be working over the next week to create, revise, and revise again all the entries for the whole team. There are lots of moving parts and this is where you come in. We ask that after our first round of entries, if you see something weird or something you might think is wrong, please ask a coach. We want to make sure our swimmers have the best opportunity to both final and swim their best and sometimes we might over look something. Do not hesitate to ask why the swimmers are in the events they are in.

City Meet RSVP

RSVPs for city are due today! Your swimmer must be able to swim unassisted to attend City Meet (if you are unsure please ask a coach). This is a list of all the swimmers who have not rsvped to City Meet! If you see your name on this list please go to the website or app and tell the coaches yes or no for each of your swimmers as well as put in the notes if you are not available for Saturday. Saturday is a finals day for the top 16 placements in each event. If you final, especially in a relay, you must plan on attending finals on Saturday.
