Good morning swim families,

This afternoon will be our swim meet against Lenoir City. Please make sure to give yourselves extra time to arrive and park due to some potential celebration related traffic. Go Vols.

Warmups

We will be starting first warmup with the 10 and under groups at 4:45. 11 and older groups will start warming up at 5:00. Please make sure you aree not late to warmups. It is a hot day and we want to make sure everyone gets some practice and stretching in to avoid any potential injuries. The meet proper will start as close to 6:00 as possible

Theme

Our theme for tonight is Tie Dye! If you made it to the tie dye day we had last week make sure to bring your creations! If not we're excited to see all your other tie dye ideas! The coaches will also have sharpies for all the kids to sign our tie dye shirts!

Athlete Events

This is your weekly reminder to make sure that your swimmers have their events, heats, and lanes written on them in a spot they can see! As well as all 10 and unders having their age and name written on their back! This has been a huge help to our clerk of course and parent volunteers! Attached is both the heat sheet and a list of all your swimmers events. The athlete check in list will also be available with our parents who are running the athlete check in desk on the upper deck area.

Clerk of Course

Please make sure your swimmers know what they are swimming and are at clerk of course well in advance of their event. This helps clerk make sure they have everyone as well as making sure they are able to know who to go find. So far we've all done a great job of this and I appreciate everyone's vigilance.

Water

Please please make sure your swimmer brings water and lots of it. It is very hot and they are swimming very hard. Water is important!

We are very excited to see everyone tonight! Don't forget to go fast and have fun!
