Cherokee meet conclusion and Tie Dye
Good evening everyone,
I want to start out by giving a huge congratulations to our amazing swimmers!! They put all they had into this meet and dropped huge amounts of time! We had a crazy 80 personal best times set this meet!
I'm sure many rumors have spread already about who won the meet and with a final score of 374-300 I'm excited to announce the winner was University Swim Club! Thank you to everyone for all their hard work!
Parents
This could not have been possible without all of your hard work both volunteering and making sure that all your swimmers make it both to their races but also to their practices and to the meet itself. From all the coaches, Thank you!
Tie-Dye
Tie-Dye day will be happening from 8:45-11:00am tomorrow. You can come at any point in time but I recommend your practice time to make it easier. The team will be providing the dye and rubber bands for your use, please make sure to bring a white T-shirt or other items you wish to tie-dye. We will be wearing these as our next meet theme against Lenoir City Bettas so please come! Attendance is not required but highly encouraged!
Wednesday Practice
We will not be getting in the water tomorrow morning, keeping with the tradition of taking the next day off, however, we will be having Wednesday afternoon practice! We hope to see everyone there!
Thank you all so much for reading and for all that you do! This has been an amazing start to the summer and we are so excited to keep the ball rolling! See everyone at tie-dye.
USC Coaches
P.S. Make sure to come to Friday morning practice for a special surprise for winning the meet!
