Parking Change this Week

RecSports has informed us that the lower parking lot (SAC Parking lot) is going to be closed all week. This will affect parking as well as drop off. Please see attached information and follow directions from parking attendants.

Tuesday practice change due to U.S. Olympic Team Diving Trials

As a reminder, practice times will shift on Tuesday, June 18 to accommodate attending the U.S. Olympic Team Diving Trials at Allan Jones.

- 10 and under: 8:45 - 9:30 am
- 11 and up: 9:15 - 10:15 am
- Donut breakfast at the SAC and then head to Allan Jones!

- Those who signed up will be on a list at the door

Cherokee Country Club Meet 

Sign ups close Monday night. Theme: PIRATES!

Warm ups at 5:30 pm and Meet begins at 6 pm

Parking: The pool is on the opposite side of the street from the main clubhouse. There is plenty of parking around the pool area. There will be overflow parking near the tennis and golf areas. If needed there is parking across the street at the main clubhouse. There is a tunnel that runs under the street for easy access back to the swimming pool.

Pool: There are two pools at the facility. The upper pool will be closed during the meet. There will be a lifeguard at the pool to keep the children out of the water.

Seating: All spectator seating will be around the upper pool. We will have two 20x10 tents set up for the team. It will be at the far side of the upper pool, closest to the tennis courts. This will allow easy access to the clerk of course for the swimmers. There are pool chairs for families and participants to sit. You can bring your own folding chairs. The lower pool, where the race will take place, is standing room only as there isn’t enough room for chairs and volunteers to move about the pool area. No outside tents are permitted.

Concessions: We will have a concession stand open during the meet. We will offer a full dinner buffet (grilled chicken, salad bar, chicken tenders, waffle fries, pasta salad, fruit, drinks and dessert) Adults $15 and Children $10. The concession stand will be cash only. No large rolling coolers please. Small coolers are allowed. We will also have a designated seating area for eating near your team tents. 

Social Events

We have two social events coming up next week. The first is tie-dye day! There is no practice Wednesday morning after the meet, but we will have tie dye day in front of Allan Jones Aquatic Center. The athletes and parents will be responsible for bringing their own items to tie-dye. We will be wearing those items as the meet theme for Lenoir City. The second will be Saturday June 22 when we take our 11-14 group bowling. Please make sure to RSVP here so we know how many people to expect!
