Good afternoon swim families,

I have a few announcements and updates to share with everyone.

Smoky Mountain Invitational

SMI event entries will be finalized this afternoon and will not be able to be changed afterwards. The team pays for each swimmer to attend, so if you signed up, please make sure you are going to attend. The meet is July 6 and 7. July 6, Saturday, is the 11 and older meet day. July 7, Sunday, is the 10 and under meet day. The theme will be announced at a later date.

U.S. Olympic Team Diving Trials Sign Up

Our team has been invited to watch the US U.S. Olympic Team Diving Trials at Allan Jones on Tuesday, June 18 at 11 am. Please sign up here to attend. (No tickets will be distributed, you will check in on the list at the door). We will adjust practice times on this day to accommodate attending the trials. SIGN UP WILL CLOSE FRIDAY, JUNE 14.
- 10 and under: 8:45 - 9:30 am
- 11 and up: 9:15 - 10:15 am
- Donut breakfast at the SAC and then head to Allan Jones! 

Parking

RecSports has informed us that the lower parking lot (SAC Parking lot) is going to be closed all of next week, please make sure to park at the other parking areas.

Cherokee Country Club

Please make sure to check your RSVPs for next Tuesday's meet. We will be warming up at 5:30 so please make sure you are there before then. Our meet theme will be PIRATES! We loved everyone's enthusiasm with the last meet, we are excited to see what everyone comes up with. More specific information will come next week.

Social Events

We have two social events coming up next week. The first is tie-dye day! It will be during Wednesday morning practice in front of Allan Jones Aquatic Center. The athletes and parents will be responsible for bringing their own items to tie-dye. We will be wearing those items as the meet theme for Lenoir City. The second will be Saturday June 22 when we take our 11-14 group bowling. Please make sure to RSVP here so we know how many people to expect!
