Hi USC!

What a great week. Thank you to our swimmers and parents for a great start to our summer. We have a few busy weeks ahead. Please read this entire email!

USC vs Crestwood Hills on Tuesday, June 11 

Our first dual meet is this Tuesday.
Please RSVP for your swimmer and sign up for parent jobs now!
Crestwood is a large team and we will need all hands on deck to host them! Please be sure your RSVPs are accurate. We are counting on signed up swimmers and parents to be present. A few notes:
1) USC will warm up at 5 pm and Crestwood will warm up at 5:30 pm, events will begin at 6 pm.
2) The relay feature will be fixed on future heat sheets, we fixed the settings in Swimtopia. Please plan to stay until the end of the meet so that we can make relay substitutions if needed. We understand that some of our smallest swimmers can't make it that long, but having as many people stay to the end is best. Plus, cheering for senior free relays is one of the most exciting times of the meet! And, if we win you get to push the coaches in the pool!
3) We will have concessions for this meet. See the attached form for the menu and prices. We will pre-order Chick-Fil-A sandwiches, you can order here and pay on site.
4) Please see attached for a pool map for our meets, we ask that families set up at near the diving well so that we can keep the area around the starter and clerk of course open. Also, remember to pick up trash and clean up your area after the meet.

Smoky Mountain Invitational 

SMI is one the the largest outdoor swim meets in the nation hosted each summer by our friends at the Maryville/Alcoa Flying Dolphins! The 50th Annual SMI will be June 29 (11 yrs and up) - June 30 (10 yrs and under). Sign up on our site now for your swimmer to attend.SMI is open to summer swimmers only, year-round and club swimmer may not participate. Sign ups are due by noon on Thursday, June 13 at noon. Please note: the team pays per swimmer for entry to SMI, please only sign up for your swimmer if you are certain of your attendance. Parent worker sign ups will be sent later.

U.S. Olympic Team Diving Trials Sign Up 

Our team has been invited to watch the US U.S. Olympic Team Diving Trials at Allan Jones on Tuesday, June 18 at 11 am. Please sign up here to attend. (No tickets will be distributed, you will check in on the list at the door). We will adjust practice times on this day to accommodate attending the trials.
- 10 and under: 8:45 - 9:30 am
- 11 and up: 9:15 - 10:15 am
- Donut breakfast at the SAC and then head to Allan Jones!

Private Lessons with Coaches 

If your swimmer is interested in private lessons this summer please sign up here. Lessons are $45/hour at Arnstein Jewish Community Center in Deane Hill or $35/hour if you have access to another pool.
