REGISTER NOW FOR SUMMER SWIM

Spring Break is a distant memory and summer is headed our way! If you know that you plan to swim with USC this summer, please register now. Knowing our number of swimmers helps us plan appropriately for staffing and lane reservations. We can’t wait to see you back … and at the outdoor pool this summer!

Simply go to our site and click onthe “Register Now” link on the right-hand side of the page. Also, be sure to enter your swimmers’ t-shirt sizes for the team shirt. (We will not include swimmer names on the back of the shirt this year).

Registration fee is $275 for the first swimmer in the family and $250 for each additional
swimmer. This includes all practices, meet registration fees, one swim cap and the team t-shirt, as well as some other fun team activities and expenses. All payments should be made by credit card through our secure site.

Returning families and families affiliated with UT can receive a $25 discount off the price of registration. This includes students and employees at UT, UT Medical Center and UT Federal Credit Union. The discount code is displayed on the Payment screen near the end of the registration process. The code is GOVOLS.

You can also purchase parent t-shirts. May 10 is the final day to register to be guaranteed a t-shirt.

We are waiting word from UT on parking for this year. We have been told we will have answers on parking permits at some time in April.

If you know of another family that would be a great addition to our team, please forward this email to them. We always have room for new swimmers and would love to have additional families join our team.

We encourage all parents and teens to download the Swimtopia app and turn on notifications. All communciations will come through Swimtopia including any practice/meet changes due to weather. Etc. Using the app is the way to stay up to date.

TEAM SUIT

This year, we are planning on a solid black team suit. Please choose a Speedo Endurance suit. Suits can be purchased locally at Swim and Tri or on www.swimoutlet.com

CERTIFIED OFFICIAL TRAINING…We need more certified officials on our team including stroke and turn judges, referees, and starters. GKAISA will lead officials training clinics throughout May. USC is hosting on Monday, May 20 at 6 pm. Info below. GKAISA will announce other dates soon. You may attend any training clinic that fits your schedule.

REC SPORTS MEMBERSHIPS AVAILABLE

UT RecSports will be offering summer memberships to the team this year. Summer membership includes: May 20, 2024-August 11, 2024. The membership includes both the SAC and TRECS. Pricing is as follows:

University Club (parent) - $100

University Club Plus-One (partner/spouse) – Additional $100

University Club Dependent(s) (youth) (option to add up to two youth) – Additional $100 each
