Swim Meet on Tuesday, 6/20 vs Lenoir City

We are excited for our 2nd "Home" Dual Meet this Tuesday vs Lenoir City. Please note that this meet will take place at the AJCC (6800 Deane Hill Dr SW, Knoxville, TN 37919). Our swimmers will warm up from 5:00-5:30PM, so please have your swimmers checking in starting at 4:45PM! The meet will start at 6:00PM. Do note that there will not be enough seating on the deck for everyone, so plan on bringing camp chairs for you and your families. We will reserve the area directly to the left of the gate for Lenoir City and we will set up by the building. Swimmer sign ups are closed, but we still have 11 volunteer shifts open- please help us fill these! Concessions will be available to benefit our team (cash and card accepted!)- and thank you all for supporting our team in this way! A reminder that we will not have practice the morning after a meet, so this week, we will not have practice on Wednesday morning!

Smoky Mountain Invitational 

The Smoky Mountain Invitational is July 8th (11 and up) and July 9th (10 and under). It is a personal favorite of many of us on the team and a great way to build team friendships and camaraderie. Sign ups for this event are open now! This event does require that all entered swimmers be able to swim across the lanes without assistance. Please see the coaches if you have questions about your child entering SMI. For this meet, you MUST sign your swimmer up by noon on Friday, June 23rd. Job sign ups will come at a later date. Please note that if you would like an SMI Tshirts, they must be ordered directly from the SMI website by June 25th here.

City Meet Sponsorships

GKAISA is making a concerted effort to increase the number of sponsors for City Meet. Every dollar raised in sponsorship money goes directly to the reduction of the cost of hosting City Meet. GKAISA's hope is that an increase in sponsorship dollars will result in decreased costs for our team. Our League has been asked to target 6 sponsors. If you have a business or if you know someone who might be interested in sponsoring, please check out the attached flyer. Together, we can drive down the growing cost of City Meet to ensure more swimmers have access to this great event.

Team Shirts and Caps

If you haven't picked up your team shirts or caps, they will be available at swimmer check in on Tuesday evening.  If you want to purchase an additional shirt, please email Karen Ems. A limited number of shirts and extra caps are available.
