Thank you to everyone who came to Lakeshore tonight for our kickoff and parent meeting!  If you didn't come, you can get caps and parking passes tomorrow or your next time at practice.

Speaking of practice, it starts tomorrow (Thursday!). We will start practices at the Student Aquatic Center (2106 Andy Holt Ave, Knoxville, TN 37996).  We want to be outside and will move outside as soon as that pool is available.

Officials

Our team needs you to get certified as officials for our summer swim season. Specifically, we need certified Referees, Starters and Stroke and Turn Judges. No swimming experience is required... just a willingness to learn!

Click here for the schedule GKAISA Officials Clinics. USC will be hosting a clinic on June 6th starting at 6pm! Clinics last about 90 minutes, and you will be given instructions to take the certification test(s).

Again, please consider getting certified at one of the needed positions. It's a great way to get the best view on deck!

Below are some frequently asked questions.  If you have other questions please do not hesitate to ask the coaches or anyone on the board.

Where should I park? Please see the attached screenshot.  The lot at the corner at Volunteer and UT Drive always has parking spots that we can park in. 

I didn't order a parking pass, but now would like one. You can go to parking services (2121 Stephenson Drive, 37996) and purchase one. Please say that you are with University Swim Club so that you can get a pass for June and July for $40. Parking services is open Mon-Fri from 7:30am-4:30pm

We are new to summer swim and don't know what to expect at swim meets.   Our website has tons of info.  Some great links are So you are going to a swim meet... and Job Descriptions and Parent Volunteers (please note we will also need concessions help at home meets). 

What swim suit are we supposed to buy? For meets we are requesting an all black suit.  Speedo Endurance makes an all black one, but you can purchase others.  Boys typically wear black jammers.  Please note that suits for meets run tight and that is good...you don't want them to fall down!  Swim and Tri is a local store and you can also order online at stores such as swimoutlet.com.
