Summer swim season is almost here!

T-SHIRT UPDATE

Our t-shirt vendor needs our final t-shirt order TOMORROW, May 20, in order to get them to us by our first meet on June 7. We have attached a DRAFT of the roster for the back of the shirt. Please review and verify that your swimmers’ names are correct. Please reply no later than 9:00 am on Friday with changes.

If you have not yet registered, please do so. We want all swimmers to get a t-shirt and for all of our teammates names to be on the back. To register, go to our site and click on the “Register Now” link on the right-hand side of the page.

SWIMSUIT UPDATE

We have learned that some sizes of our team suit (Speedo Emerging Force in orange) are either not available or are in short supply. If you cannot get a team suit, please purchase a solid black suit for our meets.

LET’S CELEBRATE COACH JOE!

As you know, Coach Joe and his family will be moving to Charleston within the next few weeks. We are planning a celebration to say “thank you” for his decades-long commitment to our team and to congratulate him on his move!

Our celebration will take place on Tuesday, May 31 at the Pavilion at Marble Hall at Lakeshore Park. We will plan to kick off our festivities at 6:00 pm and will conclude by 8:00 pm. Please bring a lawn chair. We are planning to have hot dogs and cake.

We will have a basket for cards for Coach Joe and would encourage you to have your swimmers make a card or write a note to Coach Joe. Also, we will have a “treasure chest” for any gifts or gift cards.

CERTIFIED OFFICIALS NEEDED

We are in need of certified officials. Please make plans to attend one of the Certified Officials training classes offered by GKAISA. No experience is necessary... just a willingness to learn.
