I wanted to quickly remind you about tomorrow night's team picture! 

TSS Photography will be on hand to make our individual and team photos on Thursday, July 15. Individual photos will be made at 6:00 pm, with the team photo at 6:30 pm. For the team photo, swimmers should wear their team suit and team t-shirt.

Since this photo occurs before our typical evening practice, I am going to combine both groups into a practice from 7-8 pm for those who wish to stay to swim.

While this will make it easy on those attending the photo, it does mean we will cancel the 8-9 pm practice session

For this practice, we will get in the pool with the time after our team photo, but 11 and older swimmers please bring tennis shoes just in case.

Onto our meet last night...

I believe I am still recovering from what was the closest meet in the history of our program. For those who have not heard, we ended up in a tie with Cherokee at 336 points each. I have never had a tie occur during summer league, and don't believe many have ever happened in GKAISA. 

In order for us to achieve this, we actually had 107 swims that were personal bests!

Outside of very solid swimming, I saw a lot of sportsmanship and camaraderie from our team and it made me very proud.

Please remember that anytime we have an away meet, we are the visitors and need to be on our best behavior while there. We are a team known for going above and beyond when it comes to performance and behavior off the pool deck and I hope to keep it that way.
