Swim Families,

We are looking forward to seeing you at our Orange and White Meet tomorrow night and then for our season-opener on Friday night versus the Lenoir City Bettas! If you have not signed up yet, please be sure that you do so! Also, there are a number of worker shifts still available. Parents, we need you for those.

Thank you, again, to all the parents who volunteered for our Board and for other important jobs for our team. Be on the lookout for more information regarding meetings, etc. 

Here are a few reminders….

INTRASQUAD ORANGE AND WHITE MEET

We will hold our Orange and White Meet TOMORROW (Tuesday, June 15 at 7:00). This will be a great opportunity for our younger swimmers to experience a "meet" prior to our first dual meet. It will also give our parents a chance to try the different jobs that we will use this year in our meets. We will be evaluating our equipment, making sure we have plenty of supplies, and confirming that everything is in working order. The time will be abbreviated, and we should finish by 9:00 pm. 

Karen Ems and the Concessions Crew will have concessions for sale tomorrow night. Please be sure to bring cash with you to the Orange and White Meet if you want concessions. 

ALSO, Karen and the Concessions Crew will be setting up for the home-opener on Friday. Prior to the meet, they will be taking orders for Chick-fil-a sandwiches. Make sure to order yours and support our team through the purchase of concessions. 

MEET SCHEDULE

Our Meet Schedule is as follows:

June 18: USC v Lenoir City (Home)

June 25: USC v Maryville/Alcoa (Home)

June 29: USC v West Side Y (Away)

July 9: USC v Rockwood (Home)

July 10-11: Smoky Mountain Invitational (Springbrook Park, Alcoa)

July 13: USC v Cherokee Country Club (Away)

July 29-31: GKAISA City Championship Meet

All dual meets will begin at 6:00 pm. Our team will warm-up at 5:00 pm for our Home Meets and 5:30 pm for our Away Meets.

Information on the Smoky Mountain Invitational and the GKAISA City Championship Meet will be posted when it becomes available.

MERCHANDISE

Team Suit: This year’s team suit is the Speedo Emerging Force (in orange). The suits will be available for order at Swim & Tri in Bearden.

TEAM CAPS

Non-personalized caps have been ordered and should be re-stocked tomorrow. Personalized caps should be arriving prior to our Orange and White Meet, as well. 

If you did not purchase a cap but would like to, cost is $10 each. You can purchase through the website on the merchandise tab or can purchase with cash or check at practice or at the Orange and White Meet. Checks should be made payable to University Club Swim Team.

TEAM T-SHIRTS

Team t-shirts will be available for pick-up at practice on Thursday night.
