Thank you to everyone for being flexible this morning. From what we saw, there were very few issues this morning and the swimmers adapted well to indoor and long course. Based on what we saw leaving, we will be back outdoors tomorrow! 

Now that the season is rolling, we wanted to send a few quick reminders and hints:

1) Check to make sure your swimmer has their equipment with them at home. We have had a few sets of fins or kickboards accidentally get switched between swimmers at practice. 

2) Label your swimmer's equipment with a sharpie with their last name. I would do this once every week or two since sunscreen and chlorine water eats away at the sharpie. 

3) If you are missing equipment, it is most likely in the blue cabinets on the pool deck. The coaches do our best to grab any materials we find left on the pool deck, but if it is not labeled these are the places that we take it.

4) Get ready for our first set of meets! We have put together a very basic swim meet introduction powerpoint for you to look at. Simply click this link!

5) If you plan on attending a meet, please sign up on time. Joe makes the line-ups as soon as he can and having to add or remove a swimmer has an impact on the entire heat sheet and requires significant time to do. 

6) If you are unsure if your swimmer should attend a meet, ask Joe. If your swimmer is in our Jr. Coach program, a meet is not appropriate for them. 

7) Keep encouraging your swimmer! The coaches could not be more impressed with the progress of the team!
