USC News and Notes: June 6
Swim Families,
What a great first week of practice! Thank you to all the parents who volunteered for our Board and for other important jobs for our team. Thanks to all of you for all that you are doing to make this season a great one. Swimmers, be on the lookout for a sweet treat this week.
Here are a few reminders….
CERTIFIED OFFICIALS
Our team is in need of parents to get certified as stroke and turn judges, starters, and referees. Tom Schumann with GKAISA is hosting a number of clinics over the next few weeks, and we would love for as many parents to get certified as possible. No swimming experience is required…. Just a willingness to learn! If you are able, just show up to one of the clinics, listen and ask questions, and then take the short certification exam.
A list of the clinics is attached.
PARKING
Parking is available in lot C-22, SN and SN1. Our parking passes are good from June 1 through July 31. If you have not picked up your pass, please make plans to do so on Tuesday at practice.
Also, be sure that you are avoiding the SAC lot and the lot behind Allan Jones. Parking Services has advised that they will ticket any car in those lots without a permit.
INTRASQUAD ORANGE AND WHITE MEET
We will hold our Orange and White Meet on Tuesday, June 15 at 7:00. This will be a great opportunity for our younger swimmers to experience a "meet" prior to our first dual meet. It will also give our parents a chance to try the different jobs that we will use this year in our meets.
Be on the lookout for sign-up links.

June 25: USC v Maryville/Alcoa (Home)
