In just TWO short weeks, we will once again be making a splash in the UT Outdoor Pool! Coach Joe and his staff are excited to see you again. Be on the lookout for information about our Coaching Staff. Swimmers 13-Up, be on the lookout for information on the Junior Coaching Program.

REGISTRATION IS NOW OPEN FOR THE SUMMER SWIM SEASON

Our summer swim season is set to begin in just under two weeks. Our roster is filling up fast, so please register soon!!

We are currently set to begin practice on Thursday, May 27 at the UT Outdoor Pool.

Registration will be handled through our website. Simply go to our site and click on the “Register Now” link on the right-hand side of the page. Also, be sure to enter your swimmers’ t-shirt sizes for the team shirt, including how the swimmer name should appear on the back of the shirt. We plan to order on the day of the first practice so that we can have them by the first meet.

Registration fee is $250 per swimmer. This includes all practices, meet registration fees and the team t-shirt, as well as some other fun team activities and expenses. All payments can be made by credit card through our secure site.

Families affiliated with UT can receive a $25 discount off the price of registration. This includes students and employees at UT, UT Medical Center and UT Federal Credit Union. The discount code is displayed on the Payment screen near the end of the registration process.

June 25: USC v Maryville/Alcoa (Home)

June 29: USC v West Side Y (Away)

July 9: USC v Rockwood (Home)

July 10-11: Smoky Mountain Invitational (Springbrook Park, Alcoa)

July 13: USC v Cherokee Country Club (Away)

July 29-31: GKAISA City Championship Meet

MERCHANDISE AVAILABLE AT SWIM AND TRI

Team Suit: This year’s team suit will be the Speedo Emerging Force (in orange). The suits will be available for order at Swim & Tri in Bearden.

Team Towels: Team towels will be available for order from Swim & Tri. They will have two options: a plush velour logo monogrammed towel ($28) and a logo microfiber towel ($36).

MERCHANDISE AVAILABLE ON WEBSITE

Parking Passes: UT Parking Passes are available for purchase under the Merchandise tab for $40 and will be available for pickup at the first practice. Please be sure to complete the form that is attached and turn it in to pick up your pass.

Team Caps: Team caps are available for purchase under the Merchandise tab. Caps are silicone and will be silver with our team logo in orange. Standard caps can be purchased for $10.

CERTIFIED OFFICIALS TRAINING

Our team needs Certified Officials. GKAISA is hosting a number of Certified Officials Clinics (stroke and turn, starter and referee) this summer. The schedule is attached. No experience is necessary... just a willingness to learn and volunteer for our team.
