Swim Families,

First and foremost, we hope that all of you are healthy and safe. We missed you last year and cannot wait to see you soon!

REGISTRATION IS NOW OPEN FOR THE SUMMER SWIM SEASON

Our summer swim season is set to begin in approximately 11 weeks. We are currently set to begin practice on Thursday, May 27 at the UT Outdoor Pool.

Registration will be handled through our website. Simply go to our site and click on the “Register Now” link on the right-hand side of the page. Also, be sure to enter your swimmers’ t-shirt sizes for the team shirt, including how the swimmer name should appear on the back of the shirt. We plan to order on the day of the first practice so that we can have them by the first meet.

Registration fee is $250 per swimmer. This includes all practices, meet registration fees and the team t-shirt, as well as some other fun team activities and expenses. All payments should be made by credit card through our secure site.

Families affiliated with UT can receive a $25 discount off the price of registration. This includes students and employees at UT, UT Medical Center and UT Federal Credit Union. The discount code is displayed on the Payment screen near the end of the registration process.

If you know of another family that would be a great addition to our team, please forward this email to them. We always have room for new swimmers and would love to have additional families join our team.

PRACTICE

Practice is set to begin on Thursday, May 27. All practices will be held at the UT Outdoor Pool between the TRECS center and the UT Student Aquatic Center. Our schedule will be as follows:

Morning Practices (Monday through Friday)

8:30 – 9:30 am (Ages 11-Up)

9:30 – 10:30 am (Ages 10-Under)

Evening Practices (Tuesday and Thursday)

6:00 – 7:00 (Ages 10-Under)

7:00 – 8:00 (Ages 11-Up)

We will NOT practice on mornings following meet days.

MEET SCHEDULE

We will have our Meet Schedule posted in mid-April. The Smoky Mountain Invitational is set for July 10-11 at Springbrook Park in Alcoa. The GKAISA City Championship Meet is set for July 29-31 at Allan Jones Intercollegiate Aquatic Center. More details on those meets will follow in the coming weeks.
